Sea View Terms and Conditions - the small print!

Payment of deposit is due on booking. Until payment is received booking cannot be confirmed. Payment of the balance is due 28 days before the commencement of hire. On customer cancellation the deposit is non-refundable but if the property is re-let then the deposit can be used on any future booking. If full payment has been made and you are unable to take the holiday then only 50% of total fee will be made available to set against future booking. You are advised to take out holiday insurance if this is not adequate to compensate for unforeseen circumstances. If the accommodation becomes unavailable for hire during the agreed period we will offer a choice of alternative dates or full refund. For the benefit of other customers no smoking is expected in the house. No pets are allowed for the same reason. The customer accepts the responsibility for leaving the property in the same condition and general state of cleanliness as at the commencement of hire (reasonable wear and tear notwithstanding). The property will be inspected at the end of each hire period and any damage or loss will be invoiced to the customer. The client is asked when booking to state the number of people expected to occupy the accommodation. The property will be available for occupation by the client and members of his or her party only and shall be used solely for the purpose of a holiday within the meaning of section 9 of the Rent Act of 1977. The total number of people occupying the property shall not exceed the number stated on booking unless notified in writing before the commencement of the holiday and in any event shall not exceed the capacity stated in the property description. The period of occupancy should not exceed the confirmed booking. If an extension of occupancy has been agreed by the property owner additional pro rata payment will become due immediately. The owner must be notified immediately if there are any complaints so that an investigation can be made if necessary. The owner reserves the right to gain access for themselves or their agents at reasonable times for the purposes of maintenance or inspection although it is hoped that this will not be necessary. In no circumstances will compensation be made for complaints raised after the holiday has ended. The owner will not be held liable for loss or damage to the client’s property whilst on holiday. The accuracy of all information on the property, local attractions and facilities is given in good faith but may be liable to seasonal and other changes. All agreements contained in these terms and conditions are subject to English Law.
